Profile

Postdoctoral Fellow.

Machine learning. Likes books, movies and soccer.

In 2023, I joined IceLab as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Martin Rosvall and Beatrice Melin. We are currently working on anonymizing and visualizing biobank data to better understand and extract insights from the data.

My postdoctoral research at IceLab focuses on extracting meaningful insights from biobank data. Biobank data is a valuable resource for understanding diseases and developing new treatments, but it is often difficult to analyze due to its large size and complexity. By anonymizing and visualizing the data, we can make it more accessible and interpretable, which can lead to new discoveries.

Previously, I obtained my Ph.D. in medical imaging and computational medicine from the Department of Radiation Sciences at Umeå University. Prior to that, I received my B.E. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore, my M.E. degree in biomedical engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and my M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering through the Erasmus+ Joint Master Program in Medical Imaging and Applications (MAIA).

My research interests encompass various areas, including medical imaging and tabular data, machine learning, image processing, and time series data. I am passionate about applying these techniques to advance medical research and improve patient care.
