Uses mathematical modelling, simulation and statistics to study problems in social science. Has a growing interest in the field of Complexity Regional Science.

A common denominator in my research is the use of mathematical methods and models to investigate mainly problems in social science. Mathematical models and statistics are used in many contexts to produce decision material in both the private and public sectors. In my research, I examine how different types of mathematical and statistical assumptions affect the conclusions and recommendations that the decision models provide. I have a growing interest in the field of Complexity Regional Science.

I work as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics and as a Researcher at the Centre for Regional Science (CERUM). I have a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in Engineering Physics from KTH, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Uppsala University.
